Fourth Exhibition of Works by Selected Artists: Nelson Hor “The Red Cloud Over My Head”
The exhibition series Kyobashi Art Wall: Start the Future From Here will take place from February 28th to March 10th, 2024, featuring an exhibition by Nelson Hor, whose work was chosen in the fourth selection of outstanding works. Nelson Hor’s works, made with Nihonga (Japanese-style painting) techniques and red mineral pigments, deal with social problems such as mental health and LGBTQ discrimination. In addition to actual works, this exhibition, Knitting and Remembering, displayed in a temporary enclosure inside the Toda Building (currently under construction), includes an installation in which a seemingly ominous red bird flies across an expansive sky.
